Ingredients of Easy Apple and Pear Flapjack
- It's 225 grams of butter.
- You need 75 grams of white sugar.
- You need 2 tbsp of honey.
- You need 350 grams of porridge oats.
- Prepare 1 of apple.
- You need 1 of pear.
- It's 1 tsp of lemon juice mixed with 100ml of cold water in a small bowl if not using straight away to prevent the fruit browning.
Easy Apple and Pear Flapjack step by step
- Preheat oven at 180°C/350°F. Grease 11 x 7 in tin.
- Peel, core and chop the pear and apple into small pieces. Add to the lemon and water if needed.
- Add the butter, sugar and honey in a pan on a med to high heat. drain and add the fruit. stir until melted.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the oats until well combined. Spread the mixture into the tin and flatten with the back of a metal spoon. Keep pressing to give an even surface with no holes or gaps.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes. once ready remove and cut while still hot then leave to cool in the tin.
- Best served while slightly warm or leave to cool and dip in melted chocolate, then allow chocolate to set.
