Bourbon Based Salmon. Bourbon glazed salmon is a really simple and delicious salmon recipe served with a sticky and sweet orange, honey and bourbon-based sauce. Combine the bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce and mustard. Put the salmon in a gallon plastic bag, add the marinade and distribute evenly. With the damage done but not forgotten, I went to the store a few days later to pick up another favorite "lazy" meal: Bourbon Salmon. Our local grocery store has these marinated filets of salmon just waiting to be tossed in the oven on a foil-lined pan to make a delicious entrée while I catch up on the evening news.
And by evening news, I mean.

Turn salmon, and pour bourbon around the fillets. Spoon glaze over the salmon, and serve. I also added two minced shallots. I made the same amount of sauce and used a little more than half of it to marinate the salmon. I reduced the other half to use as a topping.
